The main concept of the project proposal is the study of the influence of the application of some new therapies involving the use of new biomaterials based on metallic nanoparticles and natural organic compounds separated from fruits (anthocyanins) at skin level. The macroscopic and microscopic changes induced by metallic nanoparticles (nanomaterials) applied topically on skin can be evaluated by using high frequency ultrasound. Studies in vivo and in vitro will be made in order to determine the cytotoxicity and the antiinflamatory effects of the new products. Based on the obtained nanomaterials, specific dermatological creams will be prepared. Their effect on psoriatic lesions, in comparison with the hydrocortisone creams will be medical studied on a sample of patients. The clinical observations will be statistical studied.
